Wellington Jeffers says he travelled the Cavan Circuit with C Vandusen in 1831-32, which included Monaghan, Cavan, Smith, Ops, Douro, Dummer, Otonabee, village of Peterborough, and Mud Lake Mission (Otonabee Twp history). Cornish lists Jeffers as a Weseyan, starting in 1836.
